3 cheers for blogging.!
AGENDA!
-least common multiple
-greatest common factor
Objective: Students will be able to identify the least common multiple and the greatest common factor of any two numbers.
BELLRINGER!
--Write down the numbers 1-30
-circle the multiples of 3
-square the multiples of 4
-what numbers are multiples of both 3 and 4?
NOTES!
--to get the least common multiple, take two numbers, multiply them, then divide that number by the greatest common factor of the two numbers.
ex.1)
6 and 9
greatest common factor-3
6 times 9 -> 54 ->> 54 divided by 3 equals 18
least common multiple- 18
ex.2)
8 and 12
greatest common factor-4
8 times 12 ->96 ->>96 divided by 4 equals 24
least common multiple-4
HOMEWORK!
--page 30, numbers 1-7

I dont think it was hard, at first it seemed complicated, but after we did it a few times it was easy.
ReplyDeleteit was for me :( i am really bad at this kind of thing, but after doing my homework, i kind of got the whole factor thing :) (see i went from sad face to happy face)
ReplyDeleteOMG i think it was the funnest math lesson i ever had in my entire life lol.

ReplyDeleteIt was not exactly hard, but it takes me more time to figure out the Greatest Common Factor and Least Common Multiple because I can't do it in my head like (Super Math Smart SALMA sitting next to me ;)
ReplyDeletei get a little bit confuse trying to find the GCF and the LCM because since i wasnt here for this lesson it was hard to memorize the steps or procedure.
ReplyDeletethis lesson was a tad hard for me because i always get the factors and multiples mixed up, it takes me a minute to get the anwswer and i find myself having to write out all the multiples to answer the problem instead of doin it in my head.
ReplyDeleteNope...
ReplyDeleteThis lesson seemed confusing at first but practice makes everything simpler
ReplyDeleteHonestly, at first, I thought it would be very hard but the way that Ms. Sullivan explained it, it became easier than normal. I can now do GCF and LCM in like 2 seconds!!!
ReplyDeletejust a little bit i just think it was too long in general
