3.6 x 10 (4) x 24 = 8.64 x 10(5)

3.6 x 10 (4) kmph - how far would it travel in a year?

8.64 x 10 (5) x 365.25= 3.16 x 10(8)

8. b. round 0.0473 to 2 decimal places - 0.05
2 sigificant figures - 0.047 (since the zeros are not signifcant figures because there is no numbers before the zero.

10. a. How accurate is a tape measure marked in cm?
+/- .5 cm

  8. England ruled half of the world becase the owned all the u.s colonies and most of europe. with al their power they developed the GMT Greenwhich Mean Time which was the center of all time and all the other countries used this method
